Legends of the Causeway Coast – Sunday 22nd May to Saturday28th May 2022 (6 Days)

A leisurely and exciting tour to the top of Ireland that features the dramatic scenery of the Causeway Coast enabling us to wonder at the wild landscapes and enjoy the world renowned “Irish Charm”. Our hotel is “Corrs Corner” situated 10 miles from Belfast at the gateway to the “Causeway Coast” and we include visits to” Titanic Belfast”, Hillsborough Castle, The Irish Linen Centre, Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. We use the Cairnryan/Belfast ferry with overnight stops in Dumfries and Lancashire. Sunday: – A leisurely drive along the motorways to our overnight stop in Dumfries.

Monday: – Following a leisurely breakfast we drive across Southern Scotland to the ferry port of Cairnryan for the 21//2 hour crossing to Belfast from where it is a short drive to our hotel.
Tuesday: – A whole day to explore Belfast culminating in a visit to the Titanic Quarter recently named the “World’s Leading Tourist Attraction” an interactive exhibition built on the site where Titanic was built over 100 years ago.
Wednesday: – Following a leisurely Irish breakfast we have a rare visit to the Queen’s official residence in Northern Ireland, Hillsborough Castle. Here we have a guided tour of the staterooms including the throne room and gardens. There is also time to enjoy the Georgian Town and visit the Irish Linen Centre before returning to our hotel.
Thursday: – A fine scenic tour that shows us the best of the Causeway Coast, Giant’s Causeway and a visit to the world-famous Bushmills Distillery.
Friday: – Depart hotel to join this morning’s ferry crossing from Belfast to Cairnryan before travelling alongside the Solway Coast to our tea stop at Gretna Green. We then drive down the M.6 motorway, through the Lake District to our overnight halt in Lancashire.
Saturday: – We continue our journey southwards along the motorways making suitable refreshment stops en route. The tour is scheduled to arrive back in Enfield Town by 7.00pm’
