Snowdonia and the Mountain Railway – Friday 28th March to Monday 31st March 2025

A holiday full of the scenic grandeur of Wales with its brooding mountains reflecting off shimmering river estuaries.  It is centred at the “Hydro Hotel” Llandudno which occupies a commanding position on the seafront and is close to the Pier, Shopping Centre and Great Orme Tramway. It offers a magnificent restaurant and an entertainment room with dancefloor where you will find entertainment most evenings and all the bedrooms are well furnished with all the usual facilities.

Friday: A quick journey along the motorways brings us to Shrewsbury for a lunch break and Llangollen for a tea break, reaching Llandudno in the early evening.

Saturday: The opportunity to travel by train to the roof top of Wales for at 3560ft the mountain dominates the landscape of the Snowdonia National Park. The return journey takes 21/2Hrs including a 30minute break at the Summit Station. We return to our hotel through the spectacular scenery of Snowdonia stopping for tea in Caernarvon.

Sunday: Free time in Llandudno this morning and in the afternoon, we have a short drive into the town of Conway.

Monday: Return home by way of Chester (lunch break) and then along the motorways to Enfield, arriving back in Enfield by approximately 7.30pm.
