Weston-Super-Mare is situated in a sheltered bay at the foot of the Mendip Hills with views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales.  It is Somerset’s finest resort both in terms of natural beauty and the attractions that it has to offer.  Our hotel is the “New Ocean Hotel”, occupying a prime position on the seafront and each of the en-suite bedrooms are provided with television and tea and coffee-making facilities.  There is a bar that offers free drinks between 6.00pm and 10pm, separate entertainment lounge and a lift to all floors.
Friday: Travel to Somerset by way of Bradford-On-Avon (lunch break) and Wells (tea break), arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon.
Saturday: Today we have a ride on the West Somerset Railway along the 20-mile route from Bishop’s Lydiard to Minehead (lunch break) returning to our hotel by way of Burnham-In-Sea (tea break).
