ISLE OF WIGHT – Wight Winter Warmer

Wight Winter Warmer
Monday 14th March to Friday 18th March 2022 (5 Days)

The cruise across the Solent may be short but once on shore it’s a holiday wonderland of stunning scenery, where picturesque villages mingle contentedly with modern leisure facilities and where the high streets and country lanes are somehow quieter and quainter than those on the mainland. Our hotel is the “Shanklin Hotel” now owned by Leisureplex which has always been one of our most popular hotels. It has a lift, friendly staff an indoor swimming pool and sauna.
Monday: – Travel to Portsmouth by way of Chichester, for lunch in the cathedral city before joining the afternoon ferry, arriving at our hotel during the late afternoon.
Tuesday: -A whole day excursion around the West Wight stopping at IOW Pearl (coffee) and Yarmouth (lunch).
Wednesday: – Free day in Shanklin
Thursday: – Drive across the Downs to Osborne House where we can either visit Queen Victoria’s holiday home (admission extra) or stay on the coach and spend the afternoon in West Cowes the little-known artists retreat that offers fantastic views across The Solent.
Friday: – Join the ferry to Portsmouth and then enjoy lunch at Gun Wharf Quays before returning to Enfield, arriving home by approximately 6.30pm.

Fare £435.00
