Today’s tour visits Anglesey Abbey Gardens and Lode Mill neat Cambridge for the stunning Snowdrop displays. Early in the New Year the gardens are transformed into a’ sea of white’ as thousands of Snowdrops announce the arrival of Spring. The celebrated garden with its sweeping avenues and classical statuary offers captivating views whatever the season. There will be time for lunch and a visit to the gift shop and plant centre. During the afternoon we drive across Essex to stop for tea in the delightful village of Saffron Walden, recently voted by the Times Newspaper as one of the best places to live in England.
