There is no need to travel abroad to enjoy the delights of this authentic German Christmas Market held in Victoria Square, Birmingham. Over 50 stalls and traders from Frankfurt will offer a range of unusual handmade gifts including ceramics, candles, glassware, jewellery, and decorations. Some stalls also offer traditional items e.g., wooden toys and nativity scenes and we will also be able to sample the delights of mulled wine (Glühwein), sausages, marzipan, gingerbread, and German Beer. Suitably refreshed we should find time to walk along New Street to enjoy the fabulous shops in the new Bull Ring and of course the huge Christmas Tree by St. Martin’s Church.
