CANTERBURY AND HERNE BAY
8th September 2021
Drive direct to Canterbury where we have about 4 hours to explore the sights of our first Cathedral City. Including the newly opened ‘Beaney Museum’ (admission free) which includes displays of thousands of objects from Kent and around the world. The majestic Cathedral stands in the heart of the city, surrounded by tranquil precincts and mediaeval streets which blend easily with one of Kent’s largest Shopping Centres. In the afternoon we drive to Herne Bay for tea and a breath of sea air before arriving home by approximately 7.30pm
