Visit Lichfield renowned for the Cathedral with three spires, heritage centre, market and mediaeval streets. During the afternoon we stop for a tea break at the National Memorial Arboretum where over 300 different memorials remember both civilian and military personnel who gave their lives in the service of our country. The centrepiece is the marvellous sculpture by Ian Rank-Broadley for the National Memorial. It is surrounded by 50,000 trees so whether you come to remember or simply stroll amongst the trees you can be sure of an unforgettable visit. Return after a tea break at the restaurant. Home by approximately 7.30pm.
