We drive today to the unknown and peaceful Suffolk Coast at Dunwich, where we find the village which slipped beneath the waves during the 19th century. Here we shall enjoy a tempting ’fish & chip lunch’ at the restaurant on the beach and suitably refreshed we drive to the seaside resort of Thorpeness for the afternoon and tea before departing at 4.30pm to return home by approximately 7.30pm
