LEONARDSLEE GARDENS AND FORESTS OF SUSSEX
19th May 2021
(Escape today’s busy world in 200 acres of Paradise)
A new tour that takes us through the Forests of Sussex to stop for lunch in Horsham before spending the afternoon amongst the beautifully landscaped Leonardslee Gardens and Lakes which reflect the spectacular display of colours that surround them. The gardens were first planted in 1801 and now comprise a mature collection of azaleas, camellias and magnolias. We may explore a wide range of other features including the unique dolls house and the rare collection of wallabies, wildfowl and deer that roam the grounds. There is also a tea room and shop.
Home by approximately 7.30pm.
