Broadstairs and Deal are survivors of a bygone age imparting a sense of what the English Seaside at its best is all about. We stop in Broadstairs, renowned for its associations with Charles Dickens and picturesque harbour and then drive to Deal for a break, a resort noteworthy for its old-fashioned Shopping Centre and the newest pier in the kingdom.
