A popular excursion designed to give us the opportunity of enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the National Trust Reserve on Brownsea Island (boat fare extra) which is noteworthy for its colony of red squirrels that run free on the island. Alternatively spend the afternoon at Poole Quay, enjoy a boat trip round the harbour, and visit the unique shops or Poole Museum which has four floors of exhibitions and galleries to explore.
