RICHMOND AND THE “POPPY FACTORY”

Today we drive to Richmond-On-Thames for lunch before spending the afternoon at the British Legion’s Poppy Factory which this year celebrates 100 years as the Home of Remembrance. We see how Veterans still make Royal and Regimental wreaths by hand followed by tea in the canteen with freshly baked cakes served by in-house artisan bakers.
