ROCHESTER’S DICKENSIAN CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA
5th December 2021
Rochester is a fascinating city, explored and loved by Charles Dickens. Today, it is alive with festive atmosphere, handbell ringers, Christmas carols, Morris dancers, street entertainers, hot chestnuts and characters in Dickensian costume. There is also a Christmas Craft Fayre with numerous stalls and Rochester Christmas Market held in the castle precincts and gardens. We return home after the traditional open-air carol service, arriving back in Enfield by approximately 7.30pm.
