Break for lunch in mediaeval Rye and enjoy its mediaeval streets lined with antique shops. We spend the afternoon at Great Dixter house and garden. The house dates from the 15th century and has the largest timber framed hall in England. The garden, widely known for its continuous tradition of sophisticated plantmanship features a variety of topiary, pools, wild meadows and the famous “Long Border” and exotic garden. Time for tea before returning home by approximately 7.00pm
