Today we follow the scenic route to Shakespeare’s Stratford. We travel through the Chiltern Hills and across the Cotswolds down Edge Hill to arrive in Stratford for lunch. The town is situated on the banks of the River Avon and is renowned for its associations with Shakespeare, the world’s greatest playwright. It’s possible to visit the many Shakespearian properties including the church where he was baptised and also buried. You may also take a guided bus tour around the town or enjoy a boat trip on the river. Home by approximately 8.00pm
