STOURHEAD HOUSE AND GARDENS (NT)

Stourhead Garden has been described as one of the most picturesque scenes in the world being a world-famous example of an exquisite English landscape garden. The centrepiece is a magnificent lake encircled by classic temples and a wonderful array of classic trees, shrubs, and plants. The house is an 18th century Palladian Mansion located at the top of the garden that houses a fantastic collection of paintings, Chippendale furniture, and a unique Regency library. Time for lunch and tea at Stourhead before arriving home by 7.30pm.
