Today we follow the scenic route to Shakespeare’s Stratford. We travel through the Chiltern Hills and the Cotswolds via Edge Hill to arrive in Stratford for lunch. Stratford is situated alongside the River Avon and is renowned for its associations with Shakespeare, the world’s greatest playwright. It’s possible to visit many Shakespearian properties including the church where he was baptised and buried. You could take a guided tour bus around the town or enjoy a boat trip on the river.
Home by approximately 8.00pm.
