SUFFOLK VILLAGE TOUR & CLARE PRIORY CRAFT FAIR
11th July 2021
Enjoy the classic rural ride that takes us amongst the hills and valleys of the Essex/Suffolk borders where timbered houses, moated manors and fine church towers enrich the towns and villages that prospered from wool and weaving during medieval times. Our route takes us by way of Finchingfield (Coffee), Castle Hedingham, Long Melford and Cavendish to Clare for lunch where we spend the afternoon at the unusual Clare Priory situated on the banks of the River Stour. With over 140 stalls selling hand-made crafts set in the oldest religious house in the country.
Home by approximately 7.00pm
