We drive to Leamington Spa in Warwickshire famous for its wide boulevards, Georgian and Edwardian architecture and the Jephson Gardens. Following time for lunch in the town we visit The Guide Dogs For The Blind Training School where we are invited to take part in the “Guide Dog Experience “and learn about this life-changing work We find out how it all began, discover how a guide dog is trained,, meet the dogs and take a picture of your favourite, experience a blind-fold walk, visit the gift shop and meet the owners or puppy walkers. There is time for tea and biscuits before departing and a further stop for refreshments will be made on the return journey.
