A delightful tour to the Norfolk Coast where the title ‘next-the-sea’ refers to an area where the waves have retreated from a once busy port. Wells has been a working port since the 13th century and has a picturesque quayside with narrow street lined with unusual shops and ancient houses. We have about 4 hours in the resort – time to enjoy the pleasant walk along the embankment to reach the sea or alternatively take the narrow-gauge railway to the sea.
