No matter how often we return to this city of culture and pleasure there is always something new to discover, particularly now that the ancient baths have been refurbished and a new ‘Bath Spa Complex’ has been opened. We have at least 4 hours in this World Heritage Site, surrounded by fine Georgian buildings, crescents, squares and shops as well as the most complete Roman remains in Britain, There is also the mediaeval Bath Abbey, outstanding museum of costume and the Jane Austen Centre that explains Jane’s life in Bath, her family and home.
