At the end of the 18th century this small fishing village developed into a quirt and fashionable resort. Today it has a fine promenade, gardens and shopping centre, The ‘Regis’ was added when King George V convalesced here in 1928. During the afternoon we drive along the South Coast to visit what has become known as an ‘artists haven.’ Time for tea here before arriving home by approximately 7.30pm
