DERBYSHIRE DALES AND BAKEWELL FOOD FESTIVAL

A scenic tour that takes us to the heart of the Derbyshire Dales in the Peak District National Park – an area of outstanding natural beauty. In the morning we follow the M.1 to Chesterfield where we drive up into the Peak District National Park by way of the “plague village of Eyam and the incredible viewpoint of Monsal Head to reach Bakewell, the town so well known for its Bakewell Tarts. Today it is hosting a “Food Festival” with over 100 stalls ready to serve delicious dishes, drinks and plenty of goodies to enjoy or take home from the gifts and craft section. Truly a day to remember as we return home by way of Matlock and the motorway.
